ROLE Project Manager

THE BRIEF

Platoon’s #SheRunsTheBoards program, in partnership with Femme Africa, is redefining music education at Queen’s College, Yaba, Lagos, with the unveiling of a newly refurbished music room. Designed to inspire and empower the next generation of female musicians, this initiative fosters creativity, mentorship and limitless possibilities.

Future Assured Lasting Harmony

The newly refurbished music room is more than just a creative space. It is a commitment to shaping the next generation of female musicians. Equipped with the tools, resources, and inspiration they need, schoolgirls can explore their talents with confidence. By learning from women who have paved the way, they gain the skills and self-belief to forge their own paths, reinforcing the power of visibility, representation, and opportunity.

Timeless Legacy Forged in Time

Queen’s College, Yaba, founded in 1927, is one of Nigeria’s most esteemed institutions for female education, with a rich legacy and a student body of over 3,500. This transformative music education initiative builds on that heritage, offering young girls mentorship, role models, and opportunities to hone their talents. Platoon’s commitment ensures these students are equipped with the skills, confidence, and industry connections needed to thrive, empowering them to become leaders in music and beyond, and leaving a lasting impact for future generations.
