THE BRIEF

As the world grows into a global village with shared cultural attributes across different continents, young Africans are imbibing the streetwear style that’s popping in the streets of London, New York, Tokyo, or Paris. I started the WLVS (Wolves of Broad Street) brand as an e-commerce store and clothing line that can provide these trendy streetwear outfits for fashion-savvy young people in Africa. These outfits include graphic T-shirts, baggy cuts, and worn-out sneakers.

Streetwear is currently the most significant movement in fashion and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. We started WLVS so that fashion-conscious young Nigerians’ can join the ranks of their pairs in London, New York, Tokyo, Paris, and the rest of the world. The e-commerce attribute of the brand and the price options available for all budgets also make it accessible to different classes of young people from the comfort of their bedrooms.

This gives an African spin to the cultural and stylistic phenomenon. To ensure that young people find the perfect streetwear styles that fit them, we have collaborative collections with renowned designers and celebrities. The wide variety of price options available for all budgets also makes it accessible to different classes of young people.
